Cheryl looking for a Job?

General Manager Looking for a Job?

Last year we congratulated Cheryl (Bales) Bucholtz on her apparent promotion to General Manager.  Well, it looks like maybe the job wasn’t all it was cut up to be.  According to one of those mini-resume type sites, Cheryl is interested in receiving “job inquiries”.  Maybe she is just leaving a door open, hoping a door opens, or looking for an exit.

Street Cast Update for 2009

What happened to the Street Cast?

As we reported last year, it appears Peter Carroll was too good for Ohio Labor Laws last year.  As we reported, it seems the street cast and others were paid below minimum wage per Ohio law.  Not per federal law which provides for below minimum wage for seasonal employment, but per Ohio law.

Sponsors drop out for 2009

Well, the 2009 season is drawing near and a few things have changed.  The first thing you might notice is that the list of sponsors for this year’s event seems to have become quite a bit shorter.  Oh Kroger is still there, but here is a list of folk who seem suspiciously missing from the list of sponsors of the festival.
