Sponsors drop out for 2009

Well, the 2009 season is drawing near and a few things have changed.  The first thing you might notice is that the list of sponsors for this year’s event seems to have become quite a bit shorter.  Oh Kroger is still there, but here is a list of folk who seem suspiciously missing from the list of sponsors of the festival.

Budweiser and Bud Light
WDTN-TV 2 – Channel 2 Dayton, Ohio
South West Air Lines
Louis Trauth Dairy, LLC.
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

It appears many thanks are due to these moral corporations for taking a stand against an incorporation such as the Ohio Renaissance Festival Inc. and its owner Peter Carroll.  We imagine that last year’s dismal attendance will be made even worse this year with less sponsorship.  It seems that what goes around comes around so happy 20th anniversary Peter Carroll.
