Are Sponsors running away?

Before the 2009 season started, I reported that the sponsor page of the Ohio Renaissance Festival seemed to be missing several names since the previous year.

Budweiser and Bud Light
WDTN-TV 2 – Channel 2 Dayton, Ohio
South West Air Lines
Louis Trauth Dairy, LLC.
Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

I just checked it again to see if any had returned.  Not a one.  In fact, there seems to be even less sponsors now than there were at the start of the season.  Am I right about this?  Have additional sponsors left the sinking ship?

If so, please let me know which ones so I can send them a letter of thanks for their support in this protest.  If there is a 2010 season, it will be interesting to see which ones stick around.

  1. Bob says:

It’s not just sponsors. The place is dead. Acts are running away. Merchants are running away. Customers are running away. That means the money is running away, the service is running away, the advertising is running away, and I am running away. Our booth sold (suckers) and we are done with the place and its asshole owner. This place is dead.
