2010 Leases missing dates of festival?

Merchants, have you looked at your 2010 leases yet?  Just what are the dates of the festival next year?  We’ve now heard from two different merchants that leases have been made available, but they neglect to list the dates of the festival for the 2010 season.  Is this an oversight?  Is Dan Roth falling down on the job like Marietta Marcin did?  Or could there be something else going on?

Lets pretend that you fork over your thousand dollar plus lease money, sign a contract which doesn’t specify the dates or number of show days, and then ORF Inc. announces that they have gone to a 6 weekend show.  Are you do a prorated refund?  I wouldn’t think so if the contract didn’t specifically state how many days the festival would be.  What would happen if it were only one weekend?  What about one day?

For all I know, this has just been an oversight on a couple of the 2010 lease.  But if yours doesn’t give the festival days or duration, maybe it would be a good idea to ask before forking over your hard earned money.
